Page #4

*****WARNING about BLACK ROWS****
There is a bit of Language, and a few Racial Slurs used not only on this page, but all throughout this story. I want to make it clear that I am writing for fictional characters, and that I do not share their points of view on Racism any more than I do their views on Murder, Excess, Adultery, or any of the other terrible things in which you would expect 1930's mobsters to engage

Almost missed Thursday!!!
Page 4. We're quickly catching up to where I've got finished pages already....I need to get the heck to work illustration this thing!

Here it is. Page #1. The first official post of Black Rows as a webcomic...Depending on the response, we may be moving to an actual website dedicated to the comic, but in the meantime, we'll be residing right here.

Feel free to leave comments in the comment section, and I'll do my best to reply to everyone.

What the hell is happening with BLACK ROWS?!?!? Well, if you aren't a follower on FaceBook, you should be, as I seem to update there FAR more than I do here...Anyway, the news:
I have officially been rejected by IMAGE; Normally This wouldn't bother me, I'd pick myself up and submit elsewhere, I get rejected by companies CONSTANTLY! -well to be fair, this actually doesn't bother me either. BUT, I have no interest in submitting anywhere else. I've decided to just make Black Rows a Webcomic! FREE FOR YOUR EYES!!!!

Well, now I just need to find a PLACE to put it online.....do I just put it here on the blog? Do I get a website specifically for it? These are things which are on my mind. HOWEVER, in the meantime, I have taken on a few clients who are actually paying me MONEY....yes. As always, money has to take priority. It's a good thing though, I'm doing Character concepts for a real video-game. BLAMO!

Anyway, hang in there and we'll get things sorted out soon.

Submission.....to GOOGLE!

Today's finally the day. I just got back from the Post Office submitting the comic!
It's taken longer than I promised...It's taken longer than I had planned, but the day is here.
I could tell you what's taken me so long to submit a packet that's been ready for about a month, but anything I say would just feel like an excuse; Besides, at this point it just doesn't matter anymore.
Just let rest that at this point I have to do things that pay, rather than things that MAY pay later on down the road. If Black Rows gets accepted, I'll revisit that conviction.

On the way home from the post office, we passed the Google Earth van - and ended up harassing him for a while, so we should be on Google earth in Shelley soon, to commemorate the day I shipped off the comic. So keep your eyes out for that, 'Cause it's fun. Right?

It's amazing: I've been pretty confident with the comic. Sure it's been a learning experience, and quite hard to figure out, but I've still been confident in my story, and art work. Now that it's in the mail however, and on it's way to California to be judged, I'm suddenly a little nervous. -Not at all in my nature, I assure you.

I think every page has been better than the last, and I'm just hoping the comic doesn't look uneven from beginning to end.

Thanks again for reading everyone, Remember to help spread the word about the comic, huh?
I'll post pictures soon.

Sometimes, life get's crazy, and things you NEED to do, get in the way of what you WANT to do. I'm still working, don't worry, I'm still working hard. I just have to work on things that PAY first!

Anyway, I was trying to draw tonight (morning?) at 3am, but by head's just not in it at this moment, so instead, I decided to take things from another angle, and did this piece of promotional art.
Hope you like it. Keep an eye out for news in the near future!.
